Broncho-Alveolar Lavage Catheter
This BAL catheter is designed to perform lavage in the
equine lung. The BAL catheter can also be used for cytology
or culturing the airways. The catheter is inserted nasally,
once in place the cuff is inflated. A 3-way stop cock (not
included) can be used for administration and aspiration of
fluid. The stiffness of the catheter provides easier passage.
