Specialized Veterinary PVC Endotracheal Tubes – Developed by FioniaVet
FioniaVet has designed a range of PVC endotracheal tubes specifically for intubating large breed dogs.
These tubes are engineered to accommodate the unique anatomical structure of larger dogs, with a focus on minimizing
trauma to the trachea (windpipe). Unlike human endotracheal tubes, which are curved, these veterinary tubes are straight, reducing the risk of tracheal injury during intubation. This design also helps to lessen the impact on the trachea in the event
of tube rotation while repositioning the dog on the operating table.
Each tube is equipped with a cylindrical High-Volume Low-Pressure (HVLP) cuff, further reducing pressure on the trachea and minimizing the risk of complications during prolonged intubation.
Available in lengths ranging from 40 cm to 48 cm, the tubes can be shortened by up to 10 cm to reduce dead space, optimizing respiratory efficiency as needed for individual patients.
