The Tru-Cuff Syringe is used for controlling the pressure in the inflated cuff of endotracheal tubes. Overinflation of cuffs has for a long time been an overlooked challenge in anesthesia, and
especially for cats. Most of the time, when using a traditional syringe, cuffs are overinflated as the assessment of inflation is the result of the feeling/sense of the operator.
