Straight Tubes for Large Dogs – For Optimal Safety During Anesthesia

FioniaVet has developed a series of PVC endotracheal tubes, specifically designed for intubating large dog breeds. The straight tubes fit the dog’s trachea better during anesthesia and can reduce the risk of injury compared to traditional, curved human tubes.

Many ET tubes for animals are produced by manufacturers who primarily make products for humans. While the quality is high, they don’t always take into account the animal’s positioning or the shape of its trachea, which can increase pressure and the risk of complications during anesthesia.

In close collaboration with our manufacturer, we have developed a straight, veterinary-specific ET tube for large dogs. The design reduces pressure on the trachea and enhances safety during anesthesia.

The cylindrical HVLP cuff ensures low pressure and reduces the risk of complications during prolonged intubation.

The tubes are available in lengths from 40 to 48 cm and can be trimmed as needed to optimize ventilation for each patient.
